Itinerary (Day Wise)
Land in Srinagar and settle into your hotel before the valley's slower autumn rhythm takes over. As evening light turns gold over Dal Lake, board a Shikara for a quiet ride past floating gardens, the surrounding chinar trees already shifting into their seasonal red. A relaxed dinner closes out day one.
Spend the day among Srinagar's terraced Mughal Gardens, Nishat and Shalimar both lined with centuries-old chinar trees that turn the entire pathway into a canopy of deep red and orange this time of year. Climb up to Shankaracharya Hill in the afternoon, where the temple at the summit offers a sweeping view of the whole valley, lake and city laid out below with the autumn-colored hillsides ringing the horizon.
The drive to Pahalgam winds through countryside turning gradually more golden, poplar and chinar trees lining the route in patches of color. Arrive in the "Valley of Shepherds" by afternoon, the Lidder river running fast and clear alongside town, framed by hillsides already deep into their autumn palette.
Local vehicles, mandatory for this stretch and arranged in advance on our end, take you into Aru Valley, wide meadows backed by pine forest turning amber at the edges. Betaab Valley follows, river-cut and quiet, autumn light filtering through trees that have mostly shed their summer green. A walk along the Lidder River rounds out the day, the water loud enough to drown out everything else.
Leave Pahalgam and head toward Kokernag, stopping en route at the Martand Sun Temple ruins, 8th-century stone columns standing in weathered isolation against open sky. - A *non-refundable service charge* applies to all bookings to cover administrative costs.

Peak Season & Special Events
For travel during Festivals, Long Weekends, Christmas, New Year (Dec 20 – Jan 5), and Special Global Events, bookings are typically 100% non-refundable or subject to much stricter supplier terms.
Force Majeure
Samisha Holidays shall not be liable for disruptions caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest. In such events, we will act as your advocate to secure the maximum possible credit or refund from suppliers.
Payment Policy
To confirm your booking, the following schedule applies:
1. 30% of Total Cost: At the time of booking (Token Amount).
2. 60% of Total Cost: Before Visa processing or 30 days before departure.
3. 100% of Total Cost: Must be cleared 15 days before departure or before final vouchers are issued.
