Day-by-Day Rajasthan Itinerary

Day 1: Jaipur Arrival
Land in the Pink City and let Rajasthan’s scale announce itself right away. Check into your hotel, then head out to Amber Fort, its honey-colored ramparts climbing a hillside outside the city, with Sheesh Mahal’s mirrored interiors catching every bit of available light. Drive past Hawa Mahal’s five-tiered, lattice-windowed facade before settling in for the evening, City Palace and Jantar Mantar adding further depth to a city built entirely around royal display.
Travel tip: Visit Amber Fort early morning if possible; tour buses arrive by mid-morning, and the light hits the sandstone walls best before 10 AM.

Day 2: Jaipur to Pushkar to Jodhpur
Pushkar breaks up the drive with something completely different — a sacred lake town built around 52 ghats, where the Brahma Temple draws pilgrims from across the country to one of the only temples dedicated to the creator god in all of India. Spend a couple of hours absorbing the town’s slower, spiritual rhythm before continuing toward Jodhpur. Day 3: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph often compared to the Taj Mahal for its delicate carving, before the drive toward Jaisalmer begins. Day 4: Jaisalmer City & Thar Desert Camp
Jaisalmer Fort dominates the morning, a living fort with shops, homes, and temples still functioning inside its sandstone walls, unlike most forts that exist purely as monuments. Patwon Ki Haveli’s carved facade adds another layer of architectural detail before the day shifts entirely. By afternoon, head into the Thar Desert for a camel safari across the dunes, sunset painting the sand deep orange, followed by a desert camp evening built around folk music, a bonfire, and a sky thick with stars far from any city light.

Day 5: Jaisalmer to Udaipur

Arrive by evening to your first glimpse of Lake Pichola, palaces appearing to float on the water as the sun goes down behind the Aravalli hills.

A full day dedicated to the City of Lakes. City Palace overlooks Lake Pichola with a complex of courtyards, balconies, and museums tracing Mewar’s royal history. - Processing Timeline:* Please allow *15–30 working days* for refunds, subject to supplier clearance.

- Hotel Bookings:* While we aim for flexible options, “Non-Refundable” rates or “Last Minute” cancellations will attract 100% retention charges.
- Transportation (Cab/Bus):

Peak Season & Special Events
For travel during Festivals, Long Weekends, Christmas, New Year (Dec 20 – Jan 5), and Special Global Events, bookings are typically 100% non-refundable or subject to much stricter supplier terms.
Force Majeure
Samisha Holidays shall not be liable for disruptions caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest. In such events, we will act as your advocate to secure the maximum possible credit or refund from suppliers.
Payment Policy
To confirm your booking, the following schedule applies:
1. 30% of Total Cost: At the time of booking (Token Amount).
2. 60% of Total Cost: Before Visa processing or 30 days before departure.
3. 100% of Total Cost: Must be cleared 15 days before departure or before final vouchers are issued.

Samisha Holidays acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for delays, accidents, or service deficiencies by third-party vendors (Airlines, Hotels, Transport).
Governing Law
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra (India) and governed by Indian Law.
