7 Days Rajasthan Tour Package from Pune: Complete 6N/7D Royal Experience
- 6 Nights | 7 Days
- Know More...
Rajasthan doesn’t do anything quietly. Forts climb straight out of bare hills, palaces float on lakes like they’re daring gravity to try something, and somewhere in the Thar Desert, a camel safari ends with you sitting cross-legged in the sand watching the sky turn a color that doesn’t have a proper name. This is the Land of Kings, and a week here covers more ground, more history, and more sheer visual drama than most countries manage in a month.
That’s also exactly why this circuit needs real planning. Five cities, hundreds of kilometers of desert highway, and timing that has to account for fort opening hours and desert camp logistics — all in seven days.
Samisha Holidays runs this 7-day Rajasthan tour package from Pune as a fully managed circuit, with private end-to-end transport, handpicked stays, and local guides who turn each fort visit into something far richer than a self-guided walkthrough.

Day-by-Day Rajasthan Itinerary
01
Day 1: Jaipur Arrival
Land in the Pink City and let Rajasthan’s scale announce itself right away. Check into your hotel, then head out to Amber Fort, its honey-colored ramparts climbing a hillside outside the city, with Sheesh Mahal’s mirrored interiors catching every bit of available light. Drive past Hawa Mahal’s five-tiered, lattice-windowed facade before settling in for the evening, City Palace and Jantar Mantar adding further depth to a city built entirely around royal display.
Travel tip: Visit Amber Fort early morning if possible; tour buses arrive by mid-morning, and the light hits the sandstone walls best before 10 AM.
02
Day 2: Jaipur to Pushkar to Jodhpur
Pushkar breaks up the drive with something completely different — a sacred lake town built around 52 ghats, where the Brahma Temple draws pilgrims from across the country to one of the only temples dedicated to the creator god in all of India. Spend a couple of hours absorbing the town’s slower, spiritual rhythm before continuing toward Jodhpur. Arrive by evening as Mehrangarh Fort comes into view, towering over the Blue City’s signature indigo-washed houses.
03
Day 3: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Morning at Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s best-preserved forts, with ramparts offering a sweeping view over Jodhpur’s blue rooftops stretching toward the horizon. Visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph often compared to the Taj Mahal for its delicate carving, before the drive toward Jaisalmer begins. The landscape thins out fast here, green giving way to open desert scrub the closer you get to the Golden City.
04
Day 4: Jaisalmer City & Thar Desert Camp
Jaisalmer Fort dominates the morning, a living fort with shops, homes, and temples still functioning inside its sandstone walls, unlike most forts that exist purely as monuments. Patwon Ki Haveli’s carved facade adds another layer of architectural detail before the day shifts entirely. By afternoon, head into the Thar Desert for a camel safari across the dunes, sunset painting the sand deep orange, followed by a desert camp evening built around folk music, a bonfire, and a sky thick with stars far from any city light.
Travel tip: Carry a light jacket even in warmer months; desert nights cool down sharply after sunset regardless of the daytime heat.
05
Day 5: Jaisalmer to Udaipur
A longer travel day, but one that delivers a complete shift in scenery. Rajasthan’s desert stretch gradually softens into greener, hillier terrain as you approach Udaipur, the lake city. Arrive by evening to your first glimpse of Lake Pichola, palaces appearing to float on the water as the sun goes down behind the Aravalli hills.
06
Day 6: Udaipur Sightseeing
A full day dedicated to the City of Lakes. City Palace overlooks Lake Pichola with a complex of courtyards, balconies, and museums tracing Mewar’s royal history. A boat ride on the lake itself brings you close to Jag Mandir and offers the best angle on the Taj Lake Palace, famous for its appearance in international cinema. Saheliyon Ki Bari’s fountains and gardens round out the afternoon before an evening walk through Udaipur’s old city lanes.
07
Day 7: Departure
A final relaxed morning in Udaipur before transferring to the airport for departure. Seven days, five cities, and a complete sweep through Rajasthan’s forts, lakes, and desert that most travelers spend years trying to piece together on their own.
