After breakfast, return to Kisama Heritage Village for a full day at the Hornbill Festival. Begin at the World War II Museum located opposite the festival grounds, featuring authentic wartime artifacts, photographs, and interactive exhibits documenting the Battle of Kohima.
Spend the day experiencing diverse Naga traditions: watch archery and wrestling competitions, witness the intricate Naga folk dances on the main amphitheater, sample authentic Naga cuisine including smoked pork with bamboo shoots and local rice beer (zutho), and shop for unique handicrafts. Early morning departure to Neematighat Ferry Point (18 km, 30 minutes) to board the ferry crossing the mighty Brahmaputra River to Majuli Island—the world’s largest river island spanning 352 square kilometers. The 45-minute ferry ride offers stunning river and sandbar views.
Upon arrival at Kamalabari, explore Majuli’s renowned Vaishnavite monasteries (satras):

From River Island to Rhino Sanctuary
After early breakfast, proceed to Kamalabari port for the 8:00 AM return ferry to Neematighat. Continue your journey to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site protecting two-thirds of the world’s one-horned rhinoceros population.
Check into your jungle resort and prepare for an exciting afternoon jeep safari through Kaziranga’s grasslands and swamps. Spot the magnificent one-horned rhinos, wild water buffalo, swamp deer, and diverse bird species including the rare Bengal florican. - Refunds are subject to the specific terms of service providers (Airlines, Hotels, DMCs).
- A *non-refundable service charge* applies to all bookings to cover administrative costs.
- Refunds will be processed back to the original mode of payment or issued as a *Credit Note*, where applicable.
- Processing Timeline:* Please allow *15–30 working days* for refunds, subject to supplier clearance.

Refunds are calculated on the total package cost after deducting non-refundable components (Visa, Flights, Insurance, etc.).

- Hotel Bookings:* While we aim for flexible options, “Non-Refundable” rates or “Last Minute” cancellations will attract 100% retention charges.
- Transportation (Cab/Bus):
* 12+ Hours before pickup: Full Refund.
* 6 – 12 Hours of pickup: 50% Refund.
* 0-6 | After Dispatch/No-Show: No Refund.
Peak Season & Special Events
For travel during Festivals, Long Weekends, Christmas, New Year (Dec 20 – Jan 5), and Special Global Events, bookings are typically 100% non-refundable or subject to much stricter supplier terms.
Force Majeure
Samisha Holidays shall not be liable for disruptions caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest. In such events, we will act as your advocate to secure the maximum possible credit or refund from suppliers.
Payment Policy
To confirm your booking, the following schedule applies:
1. 30% of Total Cost: At the time of booking (Token Amount).
2. 60% of Total Cost: Before Visa processing or 30 days before departure.
3. 100% of Total Cost: Must be cleared 15 days before departure or before final vouchers are issued.

Samisha Holidays acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for delays, accidents, or service deficiencies by third-party vendors (Airlines, Hotels, Transport).
Governing Law
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra (India) and governed by Indian Law.
