Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati by air and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s 51 Shaktipeeths, offering panoramic views of the city and the Brahmaputra. Spend the evening at leisure or explore local markets for handicrafts and Assam silk.

Guwahati → Dirang (376 km, 8 hrs)
Depart after breakfast for Dirang via Tezpur and Bhalukpong, crossing from Assam into Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy changing landscapes—from tea gardens to dense forests—before arriving in Dirang Valley. Relax at your hotel with views of apple orchards and hot springs.

Dirang → Tawang (135 km, 4.5 hrs)
Drive over the roaring rivers and winding roads to Tawang. En route, pause at Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and serene Paradise Lake, then visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial honoring 1962 heroes. Arrive in Tawang town and unwind against a backdrop of Himalayan peaks.

Tawang Cultural Heritage
After breakfast, tour the majestic Tawang Monastery—Asia’s second-largest Buddhist monastery—home to 450 monks and rare thangkas. Visit Urgelling Monastery and the giant Buddha statue. In the afternoon, pay tribute at the Tawang War Memorial and experience its moving evening Light & Sound Show.

Tawang → Dirang (135 km, 4.5 hrs)
Return to Dirang via the scenic route stopping at Nuranang (Jang) Falls and the Nyukmadong War Memorial. On arrival, explore Dirang’s markets or take a dip in natural hot springs before dinner.

Dirang → Kaziranga via Bhalukpong (225 km, 6 hrs)
Travel through Bhalukpong back into Assam, stopping at the historic Nag Mandir. Arrive in Kaziranga National Park and check in to your jungle lodge. Spend the evening shopping for local crafts.

Cherrapunjee Day Trip (110 km round trip, 4.5 hrs)
Explore Cherrapunjee’s natural wonders: wander through Mawsmai Caves, marvel at Nohkalikai Falls (340 m plunge), and view the segmented Seven Sisters Falls. Return to Shillong for dinner and optional live music experiences.

Cancellation Policy
At Samisha Holidays, we strive to deliver seamless travel experiences built on transparency, flexibility, and trust. Our policies are designed to balance customer convenience with our operational commitments to global travel partners.
General Cancellation Policy.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via official email – support@samishaholidays.com / holidays@samishaholidays.com.
- Refunds are subject to the specific terms of service providers (Airlines, Hotels, DMCs).
- A *non-refundable service charge* applies to all bookings to cover administrative costs.
- Refunds will be processed back to the original mode of payment or issued as a *Credit Note*, where applicable.
- Processing Timeline:* Please allow *15–30 working days* for refunds, subject to supplier clearance.
Cancellation Policy – Holiday Packages
Refunds are calculated on the total package cost after deducting non-refundable components (Visa, Flights, Insurance, etc.).

Service-Specific Policies
- Flight Bookings:* Strictly governed by Airline-specific “Fare Rules.” Any refunds are processed only after the airline approves and remits the amount to us.
- Hotel Bookings:* While we aim for flexible options, “Non-Refundable” rates or “Last Minute” cancellations will attract 100% retention charges.
- Transportation (Cab/Bus):
* 12+ Hours before pickup: Full Refund.
* 6 – 12 Hours of pickup: 50% Refund.
* 0-6 | After Dispatch/No-Show: No Refund.
Peak Season & Special Events
For travel during Festivals, Long Weekends, Christmas, New Year (Dec 20 – Jan 5), and Special Global Events, bookings are typically 100% non-refundable or subject to much stricter supplier terms.
Force Majeure
Samisha Holidays shall not be liable for disruptions caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest. In such events, we will act as your advocate to secure the maximum possible credit or refund from suppliers.
Payment Policy
To confirm your booking, the following schedule applies:
1. 30% of Total Cost: At the time of booking (Token Amount).
2. 60% of Total Cost: Before Visa processing or 30 days before departure.
3. 100% of Total Cost: Must be cleared 15 days before departure or before final vouchers are issued.
Limitation of Liability
Samisha Holidays acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for delays, accidents, or service deficiencies by third-party vendors (Airlines, Hotels, Transport).
Governing Law
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra (India) and governed by Indian Law.
